Day 1: Airport Transfer.
On arrival From Kanombe airport in Kigali, our guide will be ready to welcome you to Rwanda. You will be delighted by the natural beauty of the country and why it was actually called the land of a thousand hills. Our guide will drive you to your desired hotel and these range from luxury, moderate and budget accommodation. They are beautifully designed to make your stay comfortable. Have dinner and overnight

Day 2: City tour and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National park.
Have a lovely breakfast and head out for the city tour in Kigali. The first place to visit will be the genocide memorial sites, many stories will be told about how this incidence happened. You will visit the Belgium memorial, Kigali historical museum and other significant areas. The city is well maintained and clean with hospitable people to make you feel at home. Have lunch and proceed to Nyungwe National Park, the journey is interesting as you will enjoy the beautiful scenery around the area. The vehicle can be stopped at anytime in case you want to take pictures or get a closer look. Along the way, we visit Butare museum, Murambi memorial and Nyanza palace. We arrive late and check in to your desired lodge, whichever you choose; you will enjoy a wonderful view of the park. Have dinner and rest.

Day 3: Chimp Tracking.
Have an early morning breakfast and go to the park headquarters for briefing about the rules and guidelines that govern tracking the chimpanzees. As you hike through the jungle, you will see other primates such as black and white colobus monkeys and different species of birds. The encounter is breathtaking as you come face to face with the chimpanzees, you will see them play, feed and others resting. You will take pictures that will remind you of a wonderful time you had with the chimpanzees. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Canopy and Nature walk.
Have an exquisite breakfast and go for a canopy walk, the experience is exciting as you walk through the forest. The canopy walkway is 50 meters above the ground level and 200 meters long, it was established in Nyungwe National Park. This beautiful platform is above and steep with a deep valley overlooking the huge forest. This exciting walkway along with its three towers is the largest in East Africa. While on the platform, you will see various animals at a close range. Primate species will be spotted and different bird species will be discovered on the upper scales of the forest. Commonly seen birds include hornbills, Rwenzori Turacos and many others. Return to your lodge for lunch and relax. In the evening, we go for a guided walk to neighboring area and visit Kamiranzovu waterfalls. With such a remarkable day in your life, have dinner and sleep by the different sounds of birds.
Day 5: Drive to Lake Kivu.
Wake up early morning and have breakfast. Drive off to Lake Kivu located in Kibuye town. While at this spot, you will enjoy a magnificent view of Virunga Mountains and the evergreen vegetation that surrounds the lake. The environment is calm and the weather is breathtaking,it will actually make you feel away form home. Have lunch and in the afternoon, we go for the boat ride along Kivu.You will get a chance to see different islands and how people cultivate on that land. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes and Golden Monkey Tracking.
Have a beautiful breakfast and proceed to Volcanoes National Park. The journey is full of exciting features with magnificent scenery. We go to the park headquarters for briefing about the golden monkeys and meeting the rangers. As you start hiking, you will see different bird species and other primates. Coming face to face with the golden monkeys will be exhilarating; you will see them play as they jump from one branch of tree to another. You are free to take as many pictures as you want for this great encounter. Right after lunch, we continue to Karisoke Research Center to pay a visit to Dian Fossey’s grave. She was an American primatologist who was killed and buried next to the Digit, mountain gorillas. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 7: Mountain Gorilla Tracking.
Have breakfast early morning and proceed to the park headquarters for briefing about the rules and guidelines of tracking gorillas in the park. The experience is exhilarating as you hike through the jungle, some level of physical fitness is required to enable you see the gorillas. The activity takes about 2 to 8 hours and strictly one hour in the presence of the gorillas. Seeing gorillas will depend on where they were the previous day. Getting a chance to confront them will be thrilling, you will see them do their daily routine work; mothers feeding their young ones, playing, feeding and others resting. You are advised to keep a distance and remove your flash light as you take pictures. Silence must be observed. After a memorable time with the gorillas, return to your lodge and relax. Depending on time and energy levels, we go for community walk or nature walk in the evening. You will get a chance to see how the Banyarwanda people and their traditional way of life. They will entertain you with their traditional dance that is so graceful. You are free to enjoy since the people are friendly. If you opt for the nature walk, you go visit the twin lakes. Have dinner and sleep while reflecting on a wonderful day you had with the gorillas.

Day 8: Transfer to the Airport.
Have your last breakfast at the lodge and drive off to Kigali, you can visit a few craft shops and buy for yourself a souvenir after proceed to the airport for flight back home. Say farewell to Rwanda.
