Day 1: Arrival in Kigali.
As you get to Kanombe airport in Kigali, you will be welcomed by our own guide. On arrival, you will love the natural beauty of Rwanda and acknowledge why it’s called the land of a thousand hills. The people only are hospitable and welcoming to make your stay comfortable. Our guide will drive you to your desired hotel and check in. You will delight in the conducive environment of the country. Accommodation ranges from luxury, moderate and budget. Whichever you choose, you will enjoy your stay and have a beautiful view of the area. Have dinner and rest.

Day 2: Morning City tour and transfer to Volcanoes national park.
Have an exquisite morning breakfast and get ready for a city tour in Kigali. You will be delighted by the cleanness of the country and how rules are respected by everyone. First place to visit will be the Genocide memorial sites, the stories about these sites is touching and sad. Continue to the national museum and learn about the history of Rwanda and other important attractions. Right after enjoying a ride in the city, we drive off to Volcanoes National park; the journey is interesting with beautiful sceneries to see. The vehicle can be stopped anytime you see something exciting or take a picture. The park is well known to be a home for the endangered mountain gorillas. We arrive and check in to our desired lodges, these range from luxury, moderate and budget accommodation.
Whichever you choose, you are assured of a comfortable stay. In the evening, you may opt to visit the Banyarwanda community, you will learn so much about their culture and what they believe in. They will be happy to entertain you with their traditional dance that is graceful and adorable. To enjoy the evening, you may as participant and have a memorable night prior to tracking the gorillas. Day 3: Gorilla tracking and afternoon Nature walk/Cultural walk.
Very Early morning, have breakfast and proceed to the park’s headquarters for briefing about the gorillas and meeting the rangers. The experience is amazing and for a lifetime. Some level of physical fitness is required as you have to hike through the jungle looking the gorillas. The activity takes about 2 to 6 hours although a chance to come face to face with the gorillas is adventurous. They are always in groups and you will see them do their daily routine work; mothers feeding their young ones, playing, feeding and others resting. You are advised to keep a distance away from the gorillas. As you take pictures, remember to remove the flash light since it distracts them. You are only given one hour to be in the presence of the gorillas. After a wonderful moment with the gorillas, return to your lodge and relax.
Depending on your energy levels and time, you may go for a nature walk. You will visit the twin lakes and appreciate the natural beauty of Rwanda. Have dinner and sleep mediating on the beautiful day you had with the great mountain gorillas.
Day 4: Dian Fossey Hike and transfer back to Kigali.
Have a beautiful morning breakfast and head out to hike up to Dian Fossey’s grave. She is an American primatologist who devoted her life and time in protecting the lives of the mountain gorillas. The best way of commemorating her good work done, she was buried next to the figure of mountain gorillas. With a wonderful history about Dian Fossey, drive back to Kigali and visit a few craft shops, you may buy for yourself a souvenir. Continue to the airport for your flight back home and say farewell to Rwanda.
