Day 1 : Arrival at the Airport in Kigali

Day 2: Morning City tour and transfer to Volcanoes national park.
Have a beautiful breakfast and set off for a city tour in Kigali,you will get a chance to interact with the local people and appreciate how the city is kept clean.The genocide memorial sites will be number one to visit, followed by other significant attractions.A lot of information will be told about the genocide.Have lunch and proceed to Volcanoes National Park, a well known home for the endangered mountain gorillas.The journey is interesting as you will catch a glance at the terraced hills,the vehicle can be stopped at anytime just in case you see something exciting or take pictures.We arrive late and check in to our desired lodges,these have magnificent views of the park.Have dinner and sleep as you wait for the great day tomorrow.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking and afternoon Nature walk.
Wake up early morning and have breakfast,proceed to the park headquarters for briefing about rules and guidelines that govern gorilla tracking in the park.The encounter is exhilarating as you have hike through the jungle,some level of physical fitness is required.The activity takes about 2 to8 hours and strictly one hour to be with the gorillas.Coming face to face with the gorillas will be breathtaking,you will see them do their daily routine work; mothers feeding their young ones, playing, feeding and others resting.You are asked to a distance as you watch the gorillas.Remember to remove your flash light as you take pictures.Silence must be observed while in the presence of the gorillas.With an adventurous moment with the gorillas, return to your lodge and relax.Depending on time and energy levels, you may go for a cultural walk,this will enable you see the Banyarwanda community.You get a chance to learn how they have enable to survive and how much they value their culture.They will entertain you with their traditional dance which is so graceful,you are allowed to participant if you so wish.You may as well opt for a nature walk,you will visit the twin lakes and you will feel closer to nature.Have dinner and sleep as you reflect on a wonderful time you had with the gorillas.
Day 4: Dian Fossey Hike and transfer to Lake Kivu.
Have an exquisite breakfast and go for the hike up to Karisoke research center, it was put in place by Dian Fossy. She struggled to protect the lives of the mountain gorillas.She was an American primatologist who was killed and buried next to Digit, mountain gorilla.Right after, we continue to Lake Kivu situated in Kibuye town.You will see beautiful views of the Virunga Mountains as well as the evergreen vegetation that surrounds the lakes.You will enjoy the cool breeze of the lake.Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 5: Transfer to Nyungwe.

Day 6:Chimpanzee tracking and Return to Kigali
With an early morning breakfast, we set off to Nyungwe National Park to track the chimpanzees.The encounter is breathtaking as you come cross other primates.You will be accompanied by a ranger who can easily detect where they were the previous day.Hiking through the forest is mysterious and the activity takes about 3 to 5 hours.Coming face to face with them will be adventurous,you will see them play, rest and the mothers feeding their young ones.Right after drive back to Kigali, we arrive late and continue to the airport for your flight and if not,check in your hotel and relax.
